As always, we fermented the beautiful Waugh Riesling at a chilly 40 degrees, allowing the Riesling aromas to become extremely intense and the mouth feel crisp and structured. Once the sugar content went below 2 brix we tasted every hour until acid, alcohol and sugar have achieved balance and fermentation was stopped.

The Chardonnay delivers the weight and complexity, Sauvignon Blanc adds citrus and a crisp mouth- watering acidity, and the Riesling delivers floral and spice qualities and a lush texture.

No Malo-lactic fermentation and no new oak used in the aging of Waugh Chardonnay. The wine was barrel fermented in 100% neutral oak and the lees was stirred at minimum once a week, which accounts for its incredible mouth feel.

Raspberries, strawberry and wild cherry dominate the nose with underlying tones of wild flowers and oak. Hints of jasmine, honeysuckle, and rose petals further the intrigue. The palate shows incredible brightness and purity, coupled with a full mouthfeel that delivers flavors of fresh cherries, garden herbs, and sweet baking spice.

The 2021 vintage of our Pinot Noir reflects the unique climatic conditions of the year, resulting in a wine that captures the essence of its terroir with finesse and elegance. Following a winter characterized by limited rainfall, a relatively cool spring delayed bud break until late March and early April. This moderate start to the growing season set the stage for smaller berries and smaller quantities.

The 2019 Waugh Zinfandel is soft, flavorful and extremely balanced. Bright forward fruit, with fresh raspberry. Dark blueberry notes and that beautiful minerality found in Dry Creek Zin dominate the palate.

On the nose, incredible notes of raspberry and pomegranates and touches of Cocoa, baking spices and brown sugar. An elegant entry as with all Waugh Wines, with increasing notes of blackberry and cherry on the palate. Supple tannin and juicy acidity take hold for a long beautiful finish.

A blend of all our red varietals, Zinfandel, Syrah, Petite Sirah, Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa and Sonoma), Merlot, Petit Verdot, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc and Barbera, with a new twist. This is the first time we are releasing a Non Vintage Red Junior. We started holding back a few barrels from each vintage of all the red varietals. Red Junior will not only be a blend of our 9 red varietals, but 5 vintages of each varietal. More than 50 lots are vinified separately, aged separately then blended and 5 vintages worth of each variety is used for blending to create Junior.

The wine is sensationally dense with ripe plum, boysenberry, and blackberry that leap out of the glass and coat the palate. The smooth, rich fruit is complemented by milk chocolate, fresh tobacco, black licorice, mocha and hints of violets. This is the second release of Single. It was produced from a very famous vineyard in the Napa Valley, Ghost Block. Nestled on a gently sloping knoll on the north edge of Yountville, Ghost Block vineyard is named in honor of the historic Pioneer Cemetery for which it borders. The vineyard is 18 acres planted to Cabernet Sauvignon.

With its harmonious layers and textures, this wine is dark, inky and opaque, it presents aromas of plum, violets and dark cherries. Beautiful fruit cascades almost immediately to more savory flavors. A great, firm mineral spine runs through to the long, bittersweet finish. Ever evolving in the glass, this wine is poised now and will age beautifully over the next 20+ years.
