As always, there was no Malo-lactic fermentation and no new oak used in the aging of the wine. The wine was barrel fermented, in 100% neutral oak and the lees were stirred very aggressively, which accounts for its incredible viscosity and mouth feel.

The 2010 exhibits a gorgeous, clear pale color and is defined by an explosion of ripe citrus and floral tones with an oily texture and dense weight that is balanced by mouth-watering acidity. The 2010 exhibits a lot more tropical fruit flavors than its predecessors, mainly due to the colder vintage and the intense maturity of the flavors and acid. With its wonderfully long finish this wine screams for a good food pairing. Enjoy!
